The Curious Case of Trump’s Illness Baffles Pundits Left and Right
By James Fitzgerald The world views US President Franklin D. Roosevelt as a renowned leader who steered America through the Great Depression and second world war, but during his tenure the public was scarcely aware that he was unable to walk unaided — after being struck by polio in 1921— and was wheelchair bound behind closed doors. The Secret Service would routinely seize and destroy photographs that showed him in a weakened state and the press were asked to portray him as strong and virile. And so the illusion of physical stature endured. Today the media has a quite different relationship with POTUS, and yet here again the public is faced with illusory narratives that rely on the same tricks and omissions. On October 2, President Trump was admitted to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center after being diagnosed with Covid-19 the previous day. The First Lady, Melania, had also…
Voter Fraud Claims Add To Election Fever
By James Fitzgerald There have been a flurry of articles about ballot fraud in the run up to the November elections, including several tweets by President Donald Trump on the matter. But what is the evidence for the tampering with or binning of voting slips and how widespread might it be? An explosive video featured on Fox News’ Hannity show by James O’Keefe appeared to show the purchase of a ballot from a Somali man living in Minnesota. The secretly filmed footage goes on to show several Somalis making allegations related to the scheme, with one former “co-worker” of Ilhan Omar claiming that the Representative for Minnesota’s 5th congressional district was directly involved in the fraud. “Nobody would say that Ilhan Omar isn’t part of this,” said Omar Jamal, chairman of the Somali Watchdog Group. “Unless you’re from a different planet, but if you live in this universe, I think…
Netflix’s Cuties Drama Puts Pedophilia Issue Center Stage
By James Fitzgerald The controversy that kicked off over a poster for a new Netflix film called “Cuties” has intensified after the release of the film on September 9 in the US exploded claims by the streaming service that the artwork did not reflect the film. “Cuties is a social commentary against the sexualization of young children,” a Netflix spokeswoman told the Daily Caller on Thursday. “It’s an award winning film and a powerful story about the pressure young girls face on social media and from society more generally growing up – and we’d encourage anyone who cares about these important issues to watch the movie.” However, nearly 600,000 people have signed a Change.org petition titled, “Cancel Netflix Subscription”. The French film has also prompted the hashtag #CancelNetflix to trend on social media. Netflix stock dropped from $509 on Wednesday to $480 at mid-day on Friday — wiping several billion…
Protecting U.S. Bulk-Power System & Technology from Bad Actors: Part 2
On May 1, 2020, President Trump signed executive order “Securing the United States Bulk-Power System,” which was one of the most important executive orders to date, yet it was a blip on most people’s radar. In fact, there have been a string of key executive orders and bills put in place regarding the power supply and technology sectors to protect the U.S. from potential harm. While all eyes have been on 5G and Huawei, few seem to be paying attention to the bigger picture – electricity, solar, “climate change” agendas, manufactured parts, foreign interference and outsourcing – essentially, our entire powered infrastructure. Part 1 of this report breaks down the timeline of key executive orders, bills, actions, and events that are critical to protecting the U.S., and reflects all the way back to 2012, showing where President Trump’s thought process was at long before he became president. It is essential…
Teachers Unions Support Guillotines, Strikes and Closures Over Children’s Welfare
By James Fitzgerald Americans are sometimes accused of ignorance over history and geography beyond their own shores. It was no different last week, after the Chicago Teachers Union tweeted support for a protest outside Jeff Bezos’ home, where an effigy was placed in a guillotine. However, any history teachers among them might have pointed out that the French Revolution ended up turning on its leaders. The protestors, who were virtue signaling for a $30 minimum wage outside the house of a man who reputedly earns $4,000 a second, clearly had violence on their minds. The CTU tweet stated: “We are completely frightened by, completely impressed by and completely in support of wherever this is headed. #solidarity.” The group describes itself as “caring, united, democratic”, but their explicit support for depictions of violence are anathema to wholesome traditional school values. A perusal of the comments under that tweet would suggest that…
